Where Fashion becomes Art

The fifth week of Claim The Fame saw some fantastic designs in a futuristic theme, and these are the two that I had the pleasure of modeling! (Please click on the photos for detailed full-size versions.)

The first is fittingly called Metalica, designed by Vanesa Jinx of Coco Designs. A lot of attention went into this amazing outfit, from the cyber-eye to the face mask, the bionic arm exposing its inner workings, the geared chest attachment, the electronic bracelets, and – in a nod to Metropolis – the torso implant which gives this outfit its unique cybergirl look and feel. Brilliant!

More reminiscent of Tron than Metropolis is Pyxis, designed by Bubble Cyberstar of Bubble’s Designs. As we have seen from this designer before, brilliant texturing and shading effects make this outfit truly stand out, while matching boots and a cyber-helmet complete the look. A must-have for the woman of tomorrow:)
