Week 4 of Claim The Fame has passed and once again I have the pleasure of showing some of this week’s amazing designs. The theme was “The 20s” and all the designers came with some fantastic styles, that impressed not only the judges but also the models who were privileged enough to be able to present them. Congrats to all of the designers who made it through (and yes, yay, mine did!) and good luck next week!

In today’s episode of Claim the Fame, the judges challenged the designers to wow them with fashion reminiscent of the 1920’s era, and our designers were certainly up to the task! There were many imaginative creations this week, and the following were just two of what we saw on the runway.
Nefertiti Kimagawa took us to a 1920’s summer in Charleston, South Carolina, USA, where we hit the sunny beach. Ava is Kimagawa’s version of a classic sailor-style swimdress so common to the era, shown here with prim collar, sleeves, lace-trimmed pants cuffs, striped full skirt, and shoes. The shading and wrinkled details add character to this piece that is true to history.
With Smooth Criminal, Thetra Blackheart sought to take us back to the speak-easys and hot nights with this fabulous flapper dress. Everything you see here other than the shoes and nails is of Blackheart’s creation, from the skin and hair to the fringe, garter, and long cigarette. Smooth Criminal takes us back in time with vintage appeal and a sexy flair.
The above outfits, as well as all of the outfits shown during Claim the Fame, are available for sale at the Claim the Fame Mall at the Kult District.
Don’t forget to tune in next Wednesday on Metaverse TV for what promises to be an exciting evening as the designers bring us Leather and Lace Couture!
The final post from last weeks dark side challenge! Sora Tatham is wearing an outfit that is sure to make heads turn called Dora. Designed by Mayden Ushimawa if you like something unusual or need a costume for a party and you want some gore this will be the one for you.
You can find this outfit in the Claim the Fame Mall at the Kult District along with all the other Claim the Fame contestants goodies! http://slurl.com/secondlife/Kult%20District/153/129/29
Last week Claim the Fame went dark gothic, mythical and misterious as the designers had to present their outfits fitting this criteria…
I can say they did a fantastic work and many of them allowed their imaginations go wild in their surprising creations!
Here are the three outfits I modeled for the past episode (photos by Rhonda Pennell, you can see them full size by clicking each one of them):
Medusa by Coco MEXICO (Vanesa Jinx)
Bella Morte by Bubble’s Designs (Bubble Cyberstar)
Princess Bellona by Bella Roche (SynsualSyn Sawson)
Next week the designers were challenged to create an outfit inspired in the fabulous 20’s… Can’t wait to see it! Be sure to follow the show every wednesday at 3 PM SLT live on Metaverse TV.

These are the outfits shown by me on Claim the Fame, week 3, on 20 April 2011 (please click on the photos to see large versions):
“Princess Aniyah” by Neiva Kumasi, designed by Misha Flanagan
“Black Magic Woman” by The Brocade Tiger, designed by Lexi Vargas
“Women’s War Tide” by Rotten Defiance, designed by Rogue Falconer
Once again, all of the designers did a fabulous job with their creations according to last week’s dark, gothic, demonic, and vampiric theme. Do not miss the fourth episode next Wednesday, 27 April, which will have the contestants show us their interpretation of the roaring 1920s! Yay!

Another week of Claim The Fame has come and go, this time with amazing outfits showing the dark side of the designers. With the eliminations continuing, I look forward to more styling challenges. Here are photographs from this week’s outfits I modeled.
Mayden Ushimawa of *Mayden Couture* Vladimir
A delightfully gory addition to the fashion world by Mayden Ushimawa. The detail is remarkable with sculpted hand and foot and a beating heart.
Kaylabreeaa Capelo of <-} Mad Diva {-> Pestalents
Dark and powerful is this armored prim outfit, complete with flowing cape and sword. The headdress is guaranteed to get you noticed. Perfect for RP. I’m including another photo so you can see the back.
Bubble Cyberstar’s Lord Requiem
Stealing into the courtyard under the cover of darkness, samurai sword at my side as I cut down all who have wronged me!!! Sorry, couldn’t resist 😀 I loved the prim mask on this and the sweater has Frolic’s vote. The texturing expertly done.
Synsualsyn Sawson of Runway Couture Star Crossed Lover
The fantasy element to a Shakespearean classic by designer Marita Overland of Runway Couture was the most fun to wear and play with. The details to the dagger and vial of poison were delightful and the fantastical epaulettes inspiring. Definitely a stunner for RP.
